Realistic Command Prompt Simulator
Tip: Perfect for pranks, videos, and making yourself look like a hacker!
A fake hacker terminal is a pre-scripted animation that looks like a real command prompt running an intrusion: network scans, password cracking, file exfiltration, progress bars, the lot. Nothing is actually executed — it's a movie-style prop that runs in your browser. Click START and the commands type and "run" themselves with realistic timing; press F11 or the ⛶ button for fullscreen and it's indistinguishable from the real thing at a glance.
The script mimics the output of well-known tools — nmap network scanning, hydra password cracking, Metasploit sessions, SSH connections, SQL dumps, and privilege-escalation chatter. The output is fiction: hostnames, IPs, and credentials are generated for show, and the page can't touch your machine or anyone else's.
The classic move: open this page on a friend's computer (or your own screen during a call), hit fullscreen, click START, and walk away. For the Windows-native version of the gag — real harmless commands like color 0a, tree, and dir /s that make an actual Command Prompt look busy — see our guide: How to look like a hacker in CMD.
